The Apps Youth Leadership Academy (AYLA) is the flagship STEM incubator program of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute & Silicon Harlem. The AYLA for the summer of 2017 focused in on Game Development. The purpose of the program is to provide students with an intensive experience in how to start a tech company based upon developing a video game. We took in 20 students from diverse background and evenly split the class with 10 male and 10 female students.
